Principle Of Better Victory

Every human being on the planet has a unique value system that has formed over his or her lifetime and that has been impacted by their parents, their peers and their life experiences. We each have numerous values, I might value security and put my savings in the bank, you might value risk and invest on the stockmarket for example. Our values therefore guide our actions.

For society as a whole, we have a collection of laws (or rules) which define what is acceptable behaviour. If one man breaks into another`s house and steals his TV, he has transgressed a number of laws and if caught will be prosecuted.

Values therefore are our personal rules which guide our actions and determine what we consider to be acceptable. Society`s laws on the other hand are the rules which a country, nation or state puts in place to protect its citizens and to guide people into making decisions which are not contrary to the common good.

I have put together a third set of rules which guide my actions to make successful decisions in my day to day life. Since we experience life in what we think, say and do, I have created rules for these three activity areas.

If rules guide our actions, principles determine the results of our actions. No person in their right mind would jump off a 10 story building, they know that the principle of gravity would result in them falling to their death.427
